September 24th Pack Campout

Let's go CAMPING! Come and enjoy an overnight adventure in the group campsite located at Yankee Springs State Park. Read the full text for updates on Recipes and What to Bring.

When: September 24, 2011 arrive at around 4PM
Where:Yankee Springs State Park group campsite
Who: All members of Pack 3245 and their immediate families are invited. Each Cubscout and Webelos attending MUST have THEIR parent(s) or legal guardian attend with them and share a tent. There will be no Cubscouts or siblings sharing tents with anyone other than their parent(s) or legal guardian.
What: Hiking, Campfires, S'mores, Games and Fun!!!
Cost: $2.00 per person plus a Michigan Recreation Passport. If you don’t have one, you MAY get a “ticket” which requires you to buy one for $10, the same price it was when you renewed your license plate and declined.
RSVP: Please RSVP to your Den Leader with the total number of people in your family who will be attending by SEPTEMBER 1st
What will be provided: This is rustic camping. Pit toilets (it's only one night c'mon), well pump, fire pits, picnic tables, and a place to pitch your tent.
What should I bring: Each camper will be responsible for bringing their own tent (and everything that goes in it), eating utensils, plates, cups, snacks, drinks (obviously no alcohol).

Saturday evening dinner will be hobo pies (aka tinfoil dinners). These will be pre-made and brought by each camper. Check out:
